Rasogulla Couple

There was a thought tat struck me when I had met a couple when I was on a trip to Tripathi .

We had just finished the dharshan and was in a shop where there were a lot of stuffs for interior decorations … The stuffs looked cute and was also very exorbitant…. Realised tat the shop was only meant for Window shopping n there my eyes caught sight of a couple …. I was also accompanied by my cousin who immediately reacted sayin tat the two did not luk all tat very great ….Ya the man was jus the opposite of bein tall , dark n handsome …. He was short , bald n a lil plum too with his big eyes popping out from the glasses … The woman was far away from being called the actual pretty , elegant and cute kind of a  person …. Ya this wld b the reaction when any person actually looks at them …. This thought triggered of my cousin’s mind even more as jus beside them was this Perfect Made for Each Other couple , in looks……My cousin immediately reacted by sayin “ Life is unfair “ …. Why make a person luk too gud in all aspects n make the other one luk much below normal ….. Felt she was pretty rational in makin tat statement n moved forward … The first couple we met made a purchase of a huge article made of glass and were getting their bill paid …Window shopping from our side was getting a lil too borin and we too decided to  step out ….

After giving too much work to the grey cells in this couple comparative analysis , my cousin wanted me to pick up something to eat from a sweet shop nearby …There off I went to tat sweet shop n to my surprise found tat Short plump man with his wife in the shop ….The woman wanted Rasogullas and was waiting for the same like a small child waitin for its icecream …. The husband just then comes close by and says “ No rasogullas here”…. The disappointed woman without even realisin wat was happening dropped a packet from her hand … Cling Cling Cling Cling was the sound tat caught the attention of the folks there in the shop ….
Lot of glass pieces were found on the floor … Oops yes she had dropped tat huge glass article . The husband came close to her picked up patiently all the pieces around n placed them into a bin closeby. The woman did not know how to react and was jus completely passive ..After picking up all the glass pieces , the man comes and held her hands and immediately said lets go to another shop for rasogullas ….There was not a reaction  of “Cant U be a little more careful” or  “Gosh wat is this”…. I was actually a little moved lukin at tat …. It was a simple incident , but gave me an opportunity for introspection…

How many times have I shouted at my close ones, when I know the intention was not meant to be shouted at ….. Ya I do understand tat we many a times in the pretext of being in anger , just loose out words …..Not tat the man in the sweet shop was unhappy . It was just tat he chose not to show out his anger, especially when his wife herself was not in appreciation for her activities …..

Ya honestly felt tat what was exhibited was actual chemistry …..So what if they were not looking all that very great … Yet they had attributes of a very understanding couple …. What else is needed ????…. Kudos to the Rasagolla Couple……..I have put a picture of  cute looking Couple coz they were actually Cute …. Cute from within  :-) )))))))))

Vey well written buddy… made my heart a little soft… Incidents like this make us believe that it is the inner beauty and not the outer beauty that matters… :)

That was quite a good one! Sometimes, people react a lot for the silly things in life and are totally silent when they really need to react. This incident shows that atleast some people ‘know’ that life is more about ‘understanding’ and less about ‘frayed tempers’.

Albeit, you never said that you’ve started a blog!
Hello? :) Is Ms. Vazupradha Balachandran listening?

I would never react the way the man in your tale did. I would most definitely yel scream and perhaps even make the sweet shop guy make a fresh batch of rasagollas so that he could shut me up!!!! but then that is me. But you are right when you say understanding and a right fit are basic essentials for any long term relations. So if you have a short fuse like me , make sure you corner a guy who never loses his cool ,(Like mohan) or vice versa.
