Projects, Presentations, Assignments, Case Analysis, Exams, Grades ….uhhhhhhh…. Want a Break ….N we did have our share of it …………..  Sangamithra is the name of the culturals @ Great Lakes and this toddler has steeped into her 2 nd year … Ya this event is very special to us and is like our little child ……  

The entire fraternity of great lakes joined together and was ready to Rock on the 1 st Of October …. To add flavour to the event, Dandiya was also clubbed along with our culturals ….. The Great Lakers being divided into small committees, this event was organized by the Events and the Different Strokes Committee …  

Hats off to the organizers as I can surely take the liberty of sayin tat all of us would definetly cherish that day wherever we are … Ya memories never can be erased ….. The event was compered by our friend Sriram and Roshik …..  

Sriram, being a gud mimic, captured all our attention by mimicking a lot of our folks and the atmosphere was filled with a lot of giggles J Roshik picked up subtle cues and took over the event in a lively manner ….. A non Tamil speaking guy was there on stage with a lot of Rajnikanth’s punch dialoguesThere was a gud lovely blend of dance and music filling the air with scintillating moments ….. 

The first dance on stage was a song from Bunty aur Bubbly …… Miss Vasupradha was also a part of it with 5 gud dancers … U can imagine her state of mind … Never has she danced for the past 23 yrs and there she had to go on stage and dance … Mummy , oh migod …..mmmmm….Ya tat was her feeling ….. With all her supportive friends around … Ya she did danceJ ….Kudos to the entire Team ( Manan , Neha , Hardeep and Gayathri )….. Me jus not sayin b coz Neha is my close friend …. But she spell bound the audience with her expressions and her energy level in her dance ….. Jus can’t forget our dance maestro Bala n the entire team performing Black n White ……Oh mi god the steps were all so complicated and they all performed at so much ease with high level of sophistication and energy…… 

Then comes also a Kuthu song where the team was happily dancing n swinging their arms away to glory ….. We for a moment were taken aback to find out if they were our own folks … Ya they were so natural and spontaneous in their performance….. There was a song by our Musical experts Akshat and Naren …. Both of them need no introductions in our fraternity …..Music is bliss n they transported the ppl listenin to them singin to tat blissful state ……A romantic song from Roja with no back ground score ….They thought tat it wld be a handicap tat there was no music goin to be organized for the song … Tat was actually Blessing in disguise as we could completely enjoy them singing directly from their heart ….. 

Of course the dance by Anshul and Yogeetha  was  way too awesome …..They both danced like experts and caught the attention of the entire set of ppl there …. There was also some gud Tamil songs by our Folks which had a gud combination of peppy nos and melodies …. 

Finally we had the dance by our girls all dressed in bright gagras and cholis with tinkling Bangles and lovely accesories ……..  Dandiya was then followed and all of us had our sticks swaying up and down to the tune of music …. There was one person who could afford to break 3 sticks and still managed to get another one to dance … She had a biggggggggg phobia 4 dance …. She got o’er tat phobia…..Ya tat was me …. Tanks to Neha , Priyanka, Gayathri and Geetha who really helped her get rid of tat phobia J  Its now about 2.5 months tat has passed after Sangamithra ……Wish time could move a lil more slower so tat all of us will have more time to enjoy under the same roof …. Kudos to Crusaders ..
